To schedule a new trip, click Create Trip on the Trips and enter the trip details.
Add Locations to Visit
You can add locations and machines to the trip in three ways:
Using the Add locations button
Click Add Locations
Select one or more locations
Click Save
All selected locations and their assigned machines will be added to the trip.
Tip:
You can filter locations by Route and sort by Next Visit to select locations due for service.
Add from Route
All locations and machines from the selected routes will be added.
You can also use Filter by Next Visit:
If a service date is selected, this option appears
When enabled, only locations with a matching Next Visit Date are added
Add Machines
Click Add Machines
Select machines
Click Save
Locations and Machines List
Added locations and machines are displayed in a tree structure, grouped by location.
You can:
Click Show Machines / Hide Machines to expand or collapse lists
Remove a location using the delete icon
Notes to Driver
To add notes for a machine:
Click the Notes button next to the machine
Enter a message
The note will be visible in the mobile app:
Enter Trip Results → Select Machine
Map
All added locations are displayed on the map.
Click a location pin to view its details
Remove a location directly from the map using Remove from trip
Save the Trip
When ready click Save.
The trip will be created with status Created, and the system will generate a unique trip number.
Next Steps
After creating a trip, you can:
Record data on paper and enter it later in the Enter Trip Results screen (for operators without telemetry)
For paper-based workflows, you can use the Service Sheet Report.
Alternative Method: Create Trips from Calendar
You can also create trips directly from the Calendar, especially if Service Patterns are already configured for your locations.
The system uses these patterns to calculate each location’s Next Visit Date.
To create a trip from the Calendar:
Open the Calendar
Switch to Week view
View all scheduled locations by day
Additionally, you can:
Use Split Routes to group locations by driver
If routes are configured by driver:
This method helps streamline trip creation using your predefined service schedule.
