Create and manage routes

Updated this week

VendSoft allows you to group locations into routes.

A route is a list of locations grouped by specific criteria, such as:

  • Driver

  • Weekday

  • Machine type

  • Geographic area

Routes can be used to quickly create trips using the Add from Route option.

Example Use Case

If you visit different locations on different days:

  • Create a route for Monday (e.g., “Monday Route”)

  • Add all Monday locations to that route

When creating a trip:

  • Click Add from Route

  • Select the route

  • All assigned locations are added automatically

You can also create routes based on:

  • Driver (e.g., “Johnny’s Route”)

  • Area (e.g., “NW Route”)

  • Machine type (e.g., “Snack Route”)

Benefits of Routes

  • Faster trip creation

  • Reporting
