View, edit, or delete a location

To review or edit a location, click on the location row in the Locations Grid.

This opens the Show Location screen.

Viewing and Editing Location Data

The Show Location screen initially displays data as read-only.

To make changes:

  1. Click Edit

  2. Update the required fields

  3. Click Save

Map

The system determines the location’s position on the map using:

  • Address Line1

  • Town/City

  • State/Province

  • ZIP

  • Country

In rare cases, the map provider may not correctly position the location.

If this happens:

  • Manually move the blue pin to the correct position

  • Click Save once the location is accurate

Machines

The Machines tab shows all machines currently installed at the location.

Locations and machines are interconnected:

  • Every location must have at least one machine

  • Each machine must belong to exactly one location

Assigning machines is a required step to:

  • Include a location in a trip

  • Schedule visits

Install Machine at Location

To install a machine:

  1. Go to the Machines tab

  2. Click Install Machine

3. Select a machine (only unassigned machines are shown)

4. Enter the installation date

5. Click Save

Remove a Machine from a Location

  1. Go to the Machines tab

  2. Click the Uninstall icon next to the machine

Move a Machine to Another Location

To move a machine:

  1. Remove it from the current location

  2. Open the new location

  3. Install the machine there

Delete a Location

To delete a location:

  1. Open the location

  2. Click Delete Location

If the location has machines assigned, an error message will appear:

When a location is deleted:

  • All related data remains in the system

  • The location will still appear in reports
