Locations and machines are interconnected—one is not meaningful without the other.
Every location must have at least one machine assigned
Each machine must be assigned to exactly one location
This step defines which location a machine belongs to.
Assigning a machine to a location is a required setup step to:
Include the machine/location in a trip
Schedule visits
Install a Machine at a Location
To assign a machine:
Go to the Machines screen
Machine not installed at a location will have a link with “Install at Location” highlighted in yellow.
Click the link
The Install Machine screen will open.
Select the location
Enter the Installed on date
Click Save

You can also install a machine from:
Locations → View/Edit Location → Install Machine
Remove or Move a Machine
To remove or move a machine:
Use the same process from the Locations screen
Remove the machine from its current location
Then install it at a new location
