You can define commissions at the location level when creating a location or later by editing it.
Commission Types
The system supports five commission types:
1. % of Gross Sales
Enter a rate (0–100).
The commission is calculated as a percentage of Gross Sales:
Gross Sales = Sum of (Sold Qty × Vend Price)
2.% of Gross Profit
Enter a rate (0–100).
The commission is calculated as a percentage of Gross Profit:
Gross Profit = Gross Sales − COGS
= Sum of (Sold Qty × Vend Price) − Sum of (Sold Qty × Avg Cost)
3. % Cash Collected
Enter a rate (0–100).
The commission is calculated as a percentage of cash collected from the machine.
4. Monthly
Enter a fixed amount paid per machine each month.
5. Per Item Sold
Enter an amount that is multiplied by the number of items sold by the machine.
