Use this function to update the In Warehouse quantity of a product, for example after stock-taking.
Adjust Quantity
Go to the Inventory screen
Select a product
Click Adjust Quantity
Adjustment Details
In Warehouse
Current quantity in the warehouse (single units)
New Quantity
Enter the updated quantity
The system will automatically recalculate Total In-Stock
Date
Date of the adjustment
Reason
Explanation for the adjustment
This will appear in:
Product History
Write-Offs / Adjustments report
View and Manage Adjustments
Adjustments are recorded in:
Inventory → Product History
The adjustments can be removed directly from the Product History screen by clicking the delete icon at the end of the row. Product quantities In Warehouse and Total In-Stock will be recalculated accordingly.
Bulk Warehouse Adjustments
You can update stock levels in bulk using Excel:
Export data from the Inventory screen
Update the In Warehouse values
Keep only:
Product Code
In Warehouse
Save the file
Import it back into VendSoft
This ensures other product data is not overwritten.
